[FP] installation simulation and user experience test

Image
I wanted to measure the size of the installation sketch, so I worked with masking tape. The actual structure will be installed at the corner of the room. A square size of 1 meter was found to be more appropriate. (Although a bit tight) The square size of 1m x 1.5m was wider than I thought. In order for BenQ's Short Throw Projector to cover 1-meter width, 175 cm must be secured. In this case, however, shadows of users and internal installations are likely to be generated on the walls. At this time, the users were about 150cm and 180cm tall. When installing BenQ's Short Throw Projector at a distance of 1m, it could only cover 70% of the projected area.

In projection mapping, I literally use the lights so I can play with the audiences to see it not to it. The viewer can have the very immersive experience. People can physically invoke their bodies and see what's going on behind the space, beyond the space, between the space using their bodies " "What I prefer to do is not to make an object. " "Why use mixed reality in art? We need to redefine our concepts of realities. Projection mapping is really strong instruments to talk about that shifting boundaries. It exists at the same time it disappears so I want to talk about our new perceptions, new orientations. How we can anchor ourselves in the...

[IMMERSIVE ADVENTURE] FEEDBACK FROM YOMI

How will you engage the audience? How will you keep the audience in the work? It may simply be insufficient for one element, such as sound or image. (Or even complex) The storytelling script must precede the technical method. Next, you need to think about how to organize the space and make people interested in the story.
